POTSDAM – Peggy Mooers of Potsdam will offer a four-week watercolor class at the St. Lawrence County Arts Council starting Monday, May 7.
Peggy has taught watercolor painting in Texas, and studied locally with Leon LeBeau and Michiko Taylor.
This class series will focus on four elements of landscape painting: skies with tissue clouds, trees and bushes with natural sponges, rocks and mountains with credit cards, and water. Beginning and intermediate students are welcome.
The class will meet every Monday in May from 6:30-8:30pm in room 229 at Downtown Snell Hall, 41 Elm Street, Potsdam.
The cost is $60, and students should inquire about what painting supplies they’ll need to bring to class. Please call the SLC Arts Council at 265-6860 or click on the “contact us” button at www.slcartscouncil.org to register and pre-pay.
