CANTON -- To gear up for the Walk to End Alzheimer's in September, the Alzheimer's Walk Committee is having a kickoff event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 14 at the downtown Canton park.

People are welcome to brainstorm on fundraising ideas, make a donation, form a team, get questions answered, and pick up walk brochures and materials.

There will be hot dogs and hamburgers and live entertainment.
