POTSDAM – The next Walk with a Doc program is at Clarkson University’s Cheel Arena at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24.
Dr. Gregory Healey, a primary care and family physician with Healey Medical Practice, along with a variety of other St. Lawrence County health care professionals, will be walking with people interested in friendly conversation, support and answers to questions during the walk.
Participation is free and pre-registration is not required. Light refreshments will be provided.
Walk with a Doc programs are held on the last Saturday of every month, sponsored by St. Lawrence County Public Health with its Bridge to Wellness Partners, who encourage county residents to take a step toward better health.
Walk with a Doc is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages and reverse the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle in order to improve the health and well-being of the country.
