CANTON – Dr. Nick Knowles of Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Physician Assistant Brittany Terpstra of Community Health Center of the North Country, and a variety of other St. Lawrence County health care professionals will lead the next Walk with a Doc health program indoors at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at Banford Elementary School, 99 State St.
St. Lawrence County Public Health with its Bridge to Wellness Partners is encouraging county residents to take a step toward better health with Walk with a Doc, a health program that brings doctors and patients together to walk every last Saturday of the month.
The Walk is open to everyone in the community. Participation is free and pre-registration is not required. Walkers will enjoy light refreshments and friendly conversation with the health care professionals, who will provide support and answer questions during the walk.
