GOUVERNEUR –– This month's Walk with a Doc, a health program that brings doctors and patients together to walk every last Saturday of the month, will be held in Gouverneur, on the race track at the fairgrounds on Saturday, Aug. 25 at 10 a.m.
The event is sponsored by the St. Lawrence County Public Health and its Bridge to Wellness Partners.
Dr. Andrew Williams, a physician at Community Health Care Center of the North Country, will attend the walk in addition to a variety of other St. Lawrence County health care professionals.
The Walk is open to the community. Participation is free and pre-registration is not required. There will be light refreshments and conversation with the health care professionals, who will provide support and answer questions during the walk.
