MASSENA -- The New York Power Authority will host its Summer Spectacular on Saturday, July 18, at the Hawkins Point Visitors Center.
The free event kicks off at 10 a.m. with crafts projects for kids, wagon rides, bounce houses, an ice cream social and fishing at the center’s handicapped-accessible fishing pier.
The North Country Children’s Museum will also provide programming throughout the day.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests will be treated to free ice cream novelties.
Events wrap up at 4 p.m.
Guests can also tour NYPA’s admission-free visitors center, with exhibits on electricity and NYPA’s first hydroelectric power facility. The center is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
