Waddington Summer Concert Series features Robin Hopper July 6, continues with variety of bands through August

WADDINGTON -- Waddington's Summer Concert series continues July 6 with former Madrid-Waddington elementary teacher Robin Hopper performing from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Island View Park Pavilion, Main Street, Waddington.

Hopper is a nationally recognized singer and songwriter who now resides in Alasaka. She grew up in the Potsdam area and attended the Crane School of Music.

Northern Lights Orchestra will take the stage July 13 playing traditional Celtic music as music from various movies.

On July 20 NoizAftr9 will play a variety of classic rock, modern rock and metal.

Jack Kelly's Little Big band will play big band favorites and contemporary classics.

Guests can enjoy some traditional bluegrass music and old time country Aug. 10 when the Rivergrass Band takes the stage.

The Starlights will grace the stage from 6 to 8 p.m. playing a variety of music covering nine decades of American music.

Local favorites, the Acoustic Brothers will play classic rock and oldies from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 24.

The summer concert series will end Aug. 31 with Classic Country performing a variety of country and western hits from the '50s to present.

All shows are free, wheelchair accessible and open to all ages.
