WADDINGTON -- The Waddington Summer Concert Series will continue tonight with the Acoustic Brothers from 5 to 7 p.m.
The groups is made up of Madrid-Waddington students Jeff Mott, drummer; Austin Scott, backup singer and lead guitarist; Jacob Barney, bassist and backup singer; and Alex Hammond, lead singer and guitarist.
The band will play classic rock and “oldies.”
Lawn chairs are suggested. In the event of rain, concerts will be moved to the old town hall, Main Street.
The rest of the season schedule follows:
• The Charlton Brothers, Friday, Aug. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Island View Park, Main Street. The band will share traditional country hits, classic rock and music from the 50’s to the present day.
• The 10th Mountain Division Band is tentatively scheduled for Friday, Aug. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Island View Park, Main Street. The band will provide a range of musical entertainment, including “rock band,” jazz, Dixieland and a brass quintet.
• A Fine Line, Friday, Aug. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Island View Park, Main Street. The group is comprised of a traditional jazz quartet.
