WADDINGTON — The St. Lawrence River Walleye Association will hosting the 11th Northern Pike Challenge Feb. 25-26.
Entry forms and info are available at www.stlawrenceriverwalleyeassociation.com or sign up at J C River Run Bar Grill, Waddington, St Lawrence Archery, Massena, Northwoods Outfitters, Potsdam, Uppstrom's Bait and Tackle, Waddington, Chapmans Sport Shop, Black Lake. Fishing hours are 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb 25, with $1,100 paid out each hour for the top four pike. The largest pike of the Day $100 and a free mount from Three Rivers Taxidermy. The largest walleye receives $100. Ages 15 and under on the youth division receive 100 percent payback for largest perch catch.
There will be five $1,000 cash door prizes, and thousands more in door prizes, and several 50/50 drawings.
Awards will be presented at the Waddington Arena, and Sunday $3,000 fish-off winner take all is presented by Town of Massena.
