Waddington Hepburn Library to offer summer reading program June 28-July 31

WADDINGTON – The Waddington Hepburn Library will offer the “Make a Splash, Read!” summer reading program June 28 through July 31.

Children age three to ten can register for the free program beginning June 21. Each child will receive a program packet which includes a log sheet and stickers for recording reading times and a rules sheet.

Participants will place a sticker on their reading log each time they read and will receive a small prize for every seven stickers. Prizes will be given out weekly in July.

A Summer Reading Finale Party will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. July 29 at the Waddington Town Beach Pavilion for all participants. Beau the Clown, balloons, prizes, refreshments and more are planned.

A story and craft time will also be offered at the Waddington Beach Pavilion Wednesdays in July from 1 to 3 p.m. for children of all ages.
