WADDINGTON — The Hepburn Library, 30 Main St., will host a presentation on preparedness in the community room by Gene LaLonde titled “Surviving Unexpected Emergencies,” Feb. 8, at 5:30 p.m.
LaLonde, a local novelist and survivalist who lives off the grid, has given the presentation previously in other communities.
LaLonde will address survival concerns related to a wide variety of potential emergencies like the Blizzard of 1977, Ice Storm of 1998, or a possible terrorist EMP attack.
The event is free and open to all.
