CANTON -- CITEC and its partner organizations will welcome hundreds of students, parents, teachers and administrators to a Manufacturing Day event Friday that will include a virtual tour of Alcoa at 1 p.m. in SUNY Canton’s Miller Center theater.
The event begins at 9 a.m. in the Miller Center multipurpose room.
It will spotlight the importance of manufacturing to the economy and careers for the next generation of workers.
Dozens of New York manufacturing companies across the state are opening their doors that day and inviting the community to join them in company tours, presentations and workshops in support of the national event.
