CANTON -- A Veterans Day ceremony will be held Nov. 11 at the Canton VFW Post 1231, 34 Gouverneur St., at 11 a.m.
All veterans will be honored.
As part of the ceremony, the post will raise and fly a flag that was used during the funeral services for Richard “Dick” Sheridan.
Sheridan was a local deceased World War II veteran.
The public is invited.
Refreshments will be served in the post room at the end of the event.
