POTSDAM – A Vespers of Love service will take place in Knowles Hall at SUNY Potsdam Sunday April 15 at 1 p.m. By Orthodox standards, this will be a short service, less than an hour, and the Gospel will be proclaimed in many languages.
Those knowing a language and would like to read, are encouraged to e-mail suchyjr@potsdam.edu or phone 717-579-5791. Dinner with traditional foods will follow the service.
An egg hunt for the children is also planned, weather permitting. The Orthodox Holy Week service is organized by St. Silouan's Chapel, just across the border from Ogdensburg.
