POTSDAM -- The sixth season of "The Met: Live in HD" continues with Verdi’s “Nabucco” at 12:55 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7 with an encore Jan. 29 at 6:30 p.m.
The legendary Plácido Domingo brings another new baritone role to the Met under the baton of his longtime collaborator James Levine.
Liudmyla Monastyrska is Abigaille, the warrior woman determined to rule empires, and Jamie Barton is the heroic Fenena.
Dmitri Belosselskiy is the stentorian voice of the oppressed Hebrew people.
Cast: Liudmyla Monastyrska (Abigaille), Jamie Barton (Fenena), Russell Thomas (Ismaele), Plácido Domingo (Nabucco), and Dmitry Belosselskiy (Zaccaria).
Admission is $18 for adults, $15 for seniors, $12 for students, and $9 for youths 18 and under. Doors open a half hour before showtime.
