NORWOOD -- The “Crafters & More” fair will be at the Norwood Village Green Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring live music, a bounce house obstacle course, vendors and concessions.
Admission is free. It will include country music from “Echoes in Black,” featuring the classics of Johnny Cash, Bobby Bare, Hank Williams Sr., Hank Thompson, George Strait and many others. Ben Todd of Six Foot Midget will be master of ceremonies.
There will be a bounce house obstacle course, dunk tank, and touch-a-truck. The Norwood Library will host a book sale, and people can cuddle the kittens from the Potsdam Humane Society and shop at the Kiwanis rummage sale.
The “Wounded Warriors Outdoor Adventures” program and meet Literacy of Northern New York will offer informational displays.
There will also be a concession stand.
Local crafters will be selling their wares: Deb’s Do-Dads with home-made knitting for children; Smith’s Crafts, wood crafts and jewelry; pickles, relishes, and jams from Claire’s Country Garden; handmade soap and skin care from Balsam Springs Soap; maple syrup and candies by Sweeter Creations Sugar House; and Sue-Z Doll Fashions, with American Girl doll clothes and accessories. Nickki Ryan will draw caricatures. There will also be local wine tasting.
