LISBON – The 10th Livestock Music Festival, hosted by the Green family at 352 Keystone Road, kicks off Aug. 11 and 12 with two days of live music, camping, food and jamming.
This year’s line-up includes a range of music, from jam band grooves and country music to blues and Canadian-style rock.
Wimpy’s Inn will be the on-site food vendor this year.
The music schedule this year includes Massena-based jam band favorites Atom Ghost from 5-8 p.m. Friday. They will be followed by Alternate Motives from 9 p.m.-1 a.m., playing a healthy dose of Hip covers and other rock standards.
The music resumes Saturday, with Agent 86 kicking off the day’s main stage from 2-5 p.m. Brad Ladison will take the stage from 6-8:30 p.m. with a variety of old country, rock and roll and original songs. Shawn Stoddard and the BackWater Blues Band will play rock-blues favorites from 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
As in year’s past, camping and parking at the event are free. Guests can bring their own food and beverages.
Parking lot and campground jamming is expected, and Livestockers are encouraged to bring acoustic instruments to share songs and grooves.
