POTSDAM -- The Local Living Venture and Michelle Young of Natural Horse Lover Farm will host "Using Essential Oils 101 - For People & Pets" Sept. 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Potsdam Community Room, 2 Park St.
The workshop is a beginner’s look at the holistic uses of essential oils in the home, garden, and farm.
Attendees will learn about what essential oils are, how to start incorporating them into your life, how they are manufactured, why essential oils are powerful and, specifically, some of the many uses for humans, dogs, cats, and horses.
There is a suggested donation of $20 general, $35 couple, $10 student, to benefit the Local Living Venture.
