POTSDAM -- The SLC Arts Council has announced upcoming arts and music classes held in the Councils Downtown Snell Hall location at 41 Elm St.

Drawing Skills Weekly with Liza LaBarge will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 19. The class is for participants ages 18 and up of beginner and intermediate skill level. This week's class will focus on drawing with color using soft pastels. The class costs $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Participants are required to bring their own supplies and pre-registration is required.

Special Arts: Integrated Elementary Music & Arts Class will be held on Monday, Sept. 19 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. This inclusive group for 5-9 year olds with disabilities as well as friends and family provides an opportunity for music and arts exploration in a supportive group environment. Friends and family are welcome. The class fee is $5.

Special Arts: Adults Music & Art will meet from 10:30 to noon on Tuesday, Sept. 20. This group provides an opportunity for adults with special needs to participate in a variety of activities including singing, movement, dancing and playing instruments. The class fee is $10.

Special Arts: Integrated Preschool Music will be held from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20. This inclusive group for 2-5 year olds with disabilities as well as friends and family provides an opportunity for music and arts exploration in a supportive group environment. Cost of the class is $5.

Special Arts: Adults Art will meet from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Group members participate in a wide range of activities including singing, movement, playing instruments, creating and

painting. The class fee is $10.

Special Arts: Teens Music & Art will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Teens with special needs will have an opportunity to explore music and arts in a supportive group environment.
