CANTON -- This year’s United Helpers’ Oktoberfest Costumed Prediction Run/Walk will be Sunday, Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. at Maplewood Pavilion.

Last year the Queen of Hearts, the White Rabbit, Elvis, and “Shower Guy,” along with 100 other participants, took part in the run.

Goody bags will be provided for children and biscuits will be available for dogs. Kid’s activities, including a bouncy house, will be offered.

Walkers will begin at 10 a.m., with runners at 10:30 a.m. Participants may dress in a favorite costume and predict their run time. Prizes will be given to the three males and three females closest to their predicted time.

Register by Oct. 11 and receive a long sleeved t-shirt. The fee is $15 per person. Children 12 and younger are free without a t-shirt. Refreshments will be served.
