CANTON -- Two new Tai-chi classes will be starting soon at the Yoga Loft, 205 State Street Rd. A beginner’s Tai-chi class will begin Sept. 17 from 5 to 6 p.m. each Tuesday and will run for 10 weeks.
A Tai-chi exercise class for seniors will take place Thursdays from 1 to 2 p.m. starting Sept. 19.
Students in the beginner class will learn the first section of the Yang Style Short Form. Each week, students in the Exercise class for seniors will do a series of slow, gentle exercises based on tai chi principles. The class is recommended for people with arthritis.
