POTSDAM -- St. Lawrence County's four associated colleges are coming together to celebrate TRiO Student Support Services Week with a book drive and a reading by New York State Assemblymember Addie Jenne.
Jenne will attend TRiO's Family Fun Party, held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Presbyterian Church, 42 Elm St.
The event is open to the public, and students will collect donations to benefit area head start programs.
Items requested include books for ages 1-5, crayons, beginner pencils, washable markers, construction paper, puzzles and educational toys.
