CANTON — Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County and the St. Lawrence County Maple Producers Association will host the annual Tree Tapping Ceremony Feb. 4, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
The event, staged to kick off the 2017 maple season, will be at Cornell Cooperative Extension Learning Farm.
A free pancake breakfast will be served from 9-11 a.m.
The tapping will take place at 11 a.m., followed by workshops and tours of the farm.
FFA and 4-H members will be on hand to assist with tours and answer questions.
