CANTON -- Open “Grandma Moody’s” trunk and find a treasure chest of toys to play with at 11 a.m. Jan. 11 at the Second Saturday Children’s Program at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association at the Silas Wright House, 3 E. Main St.
The free educational program is designed for ages four to 10 years old.
Kids will learn about what children in colonial times played with, make a button buzz saw, and have a chance to play with other toys.
Fort La Presentation Association President, Barb O’Keefe, along with some Fort volunteers, will teach kids about what children in colonial times played with. Kids can make a button buzz saw and will have time to play with the toys.
Parking is available in the back of the SLCHA, next to the museum’s main entrance.
