POTSDAM – The annual Tour de Potsdam 5K Thursday, July 13 will again kick off the Potsdam Summer Festival July 13, 14 and 15.
Runners and walkers are invited to participate in the event. It is $15 per participant with children under 10 free.
Registration and the start-finish line on Beal Street in the parking lot at the Potsdam Laundry.
On-site registration begins at 5 p.m. Walkers start out at 6 p.m. and runners start at 6:30.
The first 100 registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt. You may access the registration form at www.tourdepotsdam.com.
Return the form along with a check or money order to CDP at One Commerce Lane, Canton, NY 13617.
St. Lawrence County Community Development Program (CDP) is hosting the event again this year. CDP is a Community Action Agency serving the low income residents of St. Lawrence County for over 50 years. Some of their programs include Weatherization, Housing Choice Voucher Program (rental assistance) Head Start and the Neighborhood Centers. CDP works with families with a goal of self-sufficiency and independence.
CDP is asking people to support Tour de Potsdam and keep it alive as part of the Potsdam Summer Festival. Volunteers are needed as well.
