POTSDAM -- Shelly Murray of Today's Hair and Day Spa will be raising money for Joanne's Gift of Love Foundation scholarships.
From 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 13, during Potsdam Summer festival, employees at Today's Hair and Day Spa, 36 Market St., will Cuts for a Cause, scholarships for two students, one at Potsdam Central and one at Norwood-Norfolk Central School.
Care baskets are also being made and will be donated to patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments at the local cancer treatment center.
Today's Hair and Day Spa also will also host a hairstyle showcase that morning at 10:45, downtown on the festival’s Main Stage.
Joanne’s Gift of Love Foundation in named for Joanne Bigwarfe, the late principal at Norwood-Norfolk.
People may call Today's Hair and Day Spa at 265-0018 for an appointment, and walk-ins are welcome.
