MALONE -- Titus Mountain’s 34th annual Oktoberfest is set Oct. 4, rain or shine.
The yearly event draws over 3,000 people for food, vendors, kids’ games, live music, fireworks, and ski season information.
It begins at 10 a.m. and concludes in the evening with live music and fireworks. Admission is $5, kids 12 and under are free.
Oktoberfest is also a fundraiser for the Titus Mountain Ski Patrol and Adirondack for Kids.
Remedy, Jock Entertainment, and Backdraft will play live music starting at 1 p.m. Over 70 local vendors will exhibit their products, from specialty candy apples to wood carvings and Adirondack-inspired crafts. The New & Improved Titus Teddy Kids’ Zone will have a blow-up castle, slide, and jousting arena, kids’ activities and games, and face painting.
