POTSDAM -- Trillium Center For Yoga and Health, 25 Market St., will hold its second annual New Year’s Day retreat, “Welcome The New Year With Smiles and Chocolate” on Sunday, Jan. 1 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Participants will experience a variety of meditations, including mindfulness, deep relaxation, and intention. Participants are asked to bring their old magazines and catalogues to be shared with others in creating individual 2017 intention collages.
Tea will be served and there will be time for conversation at the end of the retreat.

Facilitated by Joya Blondel, PhD, minister of walking prayer, Reiki master/teacher and Terry de la Vega, NP, CYN, nurse practitioner, yoga teacher, yoga therapist, and Certified Yoga Nurse®, this workshop is intended for anyone who would like to take some time to slow down and find peace.
Trillium offers two ongoing meditation classes: community meditation meets Wednesdays, from 7 to 7:30 p.m. and lunchtime meditation meets on Thursdays, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 pm.
