Tickets for Harlem Ambassadors charity basketball game Nov. 20 sold in Potsdam and Canton

POTSDAM -- Advance tickets for the Harlem Ambassadors versus Potsdam Local Heroes basketball game on Nov. 20, at 4 p.m. are available at the following locations: Potsdam IGA, Potsdam Kinney Drugs on Maple Street, Kinney Drugs in Canton, and the Potsdam Chamber office.

Tickets will be sold outside of the Potsdam Walmart, 7494 U.S. Highway 11, from 2 until 5 p.m. on Nov. 5, Nov. 12 and Nov. 18. Advanced tickets are $10. Tickets at the door will be $15 for adults, $12 for students, and are free for kids under age four.

Tables will also be set up at upcoming SUNY Potsdam men’s hockey games on Nov. 5 and Nov. 18 as well as Clarkson women’s hockey games on Nov. 11 and 12.

The event is organized by the Potsdam Kiwanis Club.

“We have some great people lined up to play on our team against the Ambassadors," Club President Marcy Adams says. “We have Potsdam PE teachers Gaebel, Wingerter, and Scordo; some other teachers and staff for Potsdam and Brasher Falls, and some local community law enforcement.

The Potsdam Kiwanis Club is always accepting new members and the group meets at Potsdam Ponderosa at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.
