CANTON -- Do you remember the U.S. Army Maneuvers that were held around the North County in the summer of 1940? Curious to learn more about this local event which helped to prepare American troops for entering the war in Europe?
The Brown Bag Lunch Series will be held at noon Thursday, Oct. 19, at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association, 3 East Main St.
There will be a panel of local residents recalling their experiences during the 1940 maneuvers.
