OGDENSBURG -- The third annual River Shiver Polar Bear 5k run/walk will be held Saturday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m., sponsored by the Lion’s Clubs.
The run/walk is open to experienced runners and novices alike, starting at the Dobisky Community Center.
Male and female divisions with six categories each will be held, along with overall winners in both divisions. Goody bags and door prizes will be given away.
The entry fee will be $15 for early registration prior to Feb. 8 or $18 on race day. Long sleeve commemorative T-shirts will be available to all pre-registrants and as supplies last on race day.
Entry forms are available at the Medicine Place, State Street; Roethel’s on Ford Street; the city clerk’s office or on the facebook page “River Shiver 5k Polar Bear Run/Walk.”
