HEUVELTON -- Following the success of last year’s one-week middle school musical theater workshop, the St. Lawrence County Arts Council and Pickens Hall will produce a 2018 Musical Theater workshop production of Les Miserábles: School Edition.
The 3-week workshop will take place from June 25-July 14, with performances on the evenings of July 13 and 14.
Directed by Molly Ladouceur and Samantha Stinson, the workshop is open to students entering grades 7-12, as well as 2018 high school graduates.
This workshop is an opportunity for students to learn stronger skills in acting and singing, as well as develop confidence in communication.
Rehearsals will take place at Pickens Hall from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tuition for the workshop is $250 for the three-week program.
While the workshop is open to the first 40 students who register, cast placement auditions will be held Saturday, May 19.
Online registration is now open.
