POTSDAM -- Clarkson University’s physician assistant program will host a “Teddy Bear Toss” during the Clarkson men’s hockey game against Union College Saturday, Feb. 1 to benefit child patients at local hospitals.

Fans who bring a new stuffed animal to toss on the ice during the game will receive free general admission to the game.

If the stuffed animal is wrapped in plastic, participants will also receive two tickets to an upcoming women’s hockey game.

All donated toys will go to children at local hospitals, including Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, Massena Memorial Hospital, Alice Hyde Medical Center, Adirondack Medical Center, Carthage Area Hospital and the Guthrie Clinic at Fort Drum.
