CANTON --The St. Lawrence Valley Human Resources Management Association will host a team building and leadership seminar Sept. 13 at the Best Western in Canton.

The seminar features Jason Banuski, President and Senior HR Consultant for HR One in Syracuse will speak on the top 10 questions Human Resource professionals ask his firm.

Tom Minnick, Director Center for Human Resources with the NYS Business Council will review pending Federal and State Labor Laws that will impact area businesses. Frank Pastizzo from Warm up the Workplace will discuss Customer Service, Diversity, Morale and Team Building Skills. The registration fee is $60 for SHRM members and $75 for non-SHRM members.

The registration fee includes the three speakers, an autographed book from Frank Pastizzo, refreshments at break, lunch and a chance to win many great door prizes. The seminar starts at 8:45 a.m. and will end at 3:30 p.m.

This program has been approved for 4.75 recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR through the HR Certification Institute.
