CANTON – In the summer of 2010, TAUNY teamed up with North Country Public Radio to launch "The Garden Plot," a blog about vegetable gardening in Northern New York.
Home gardeners, commercial growers, and community and school garden groups from around the region were invited to report on what was happening in their gardens throughout the growing season.
They sent photos and described successes and failures in vegetable patches from the Adirondacks to the Thousand Islands.
TAUNY's spring exhibit, "The Garden Plot Revisited," features photos and excerpts from the blog.
The exhibit opens Saturday, June 4, and will include scarecrows made by local children in TAUNY's First Thursday for Kids program.
Because The TAUNY Center will be closed for renovations, the exhibit will be displayed in the large front windows of the Center.
