CANTON -- Tickets to win a red school house barn quilt are being sold at the TAUNY North Country Folkstore, 53 Main St., for $5 each.
The quilt was painted by members of the TAUNY Board of Directors and friends.
The winner will be drawn Saturday, Feb. 18 during TAUNY's pea soup and johnnycake lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; ticket holders do not need to be present to win.
In addition, 50/50 raffles will be held Friday, Feb. 10, during the Winter Meltdown Dance at the Best Western University Inn and at the SLU vs. Cornell hockey game at Appleton Arena on Friday, Feb. 17. You must be present to win.
Funds raised through these efforts will got to support the work of TAUNY in the North Country.
