Traditional Arts in Upstate New York (TAUNY) is seeking entries for its 2014 Sugar and Spice contest.
Entries are due by Dec. 4. Event organizers ask that people pre-register by Nov. 22.
They are seeking people to enter gingerbread houses made to look like local and regional landmarks, which is the theme for this year's contest.
A register of places can be found at NorthCountryFolklore.org/rvsp. However, entries made to look like any local landmark will be accepted.
Prizes will be given in four age group categories. There will also be a people's choice award and a prize for the overall best representation of a site on the register.
