CANTON—The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St., will host a “Meet the Artist” event and trunk sale, Saturday, May 19. Rustic furniture maker Jamie Henderson and botanical illustrator Judith Utter will talk about their work and answer questions.
They will show items that are not usually for sale in the Folkstore. Henderson, who grew up in Morristown and now lives in Gouverneur will discuss his trade from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Artist Utter will be in the Folkstore from 1 to 3 p.m., showing the tools of her trade and a range of her work, from watercolor paintings to decorated silk scarves.
