CANTON -- An Indian feast to benefit TAUNY will be held at 53 Main St. on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 6:30 p.m.
The cost is $40 and $35 for TAUNY Friends.
The meal will be prepared earlier in the day as part of an Indian cooking workshop that incorporates local, seasonal produce in traditional, healthy Indian dishes such as curried potatoes, a pumpkin chickpea coconut milk dish, and an appetizer of battered and baked fresh, local vegetables.
Participants will use traditional Indian spices and cooking techniques. Reservations are required at 386-4289 or programs@tauny.org.
