CANTON -- TAUNY invites the community to help create a community winter mosaic at the TAUNY Center, 53 Main St.
Prompts, arts and crafts materials, and workspace are provided on tables in the main gallery. Other arts and crafting activity is also welcome, if people want to bring in a project to work on or add to the wall. All ages are encouraged to participate, and no artistic experience is required.
"Winter activities, traditions, and reflections are such an important part of North Country life," says Camilla Ammirati, TAUNY Director of Research and Programs. "Whether you want to share a special winter experience or just need to vent about the cold, but with glitter, we invite you to come on down and add your own bit of creative winter work to the wall."
The mosaic tables and supplies are available during through Feb. 5. The TAUNY Center is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
