CANTON -- TAUNY has created cooking and craft workshops geared to children ages 6 to 12 at The TAUNY Center in downtown Canton, the first on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
From 3:30 to 5 p.m., Efrat Ezra will be sharing Jewish holiday cooking traditions around Tu b’Shvat, The New Year of the Trees. This program is supported by Nature’s Storehouse in Canton.
The other workshops are Natural Egg Dyeing with Flip Filippi on Saturday, March 19, Nancy Wilder Palmateer Memorial Children’s Workshop on rustic birdhouses with Fred Peryer and John Miller III on Wednesday, April 27, and fun savory treats with Rose Rivezzi on Wednesday, June 1.
The cost is $12, $10 for TAUNY friends, but if registering for three of the four workshops, the cost is reduced by ten percent.
Registration in advance is required. Call 315-386-4289 or email programs@tauny.org.
More information on the workshops is available at tauny.org.
