POTSDAM – A tango class is set for 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 in SUNY Potsdam’s Merritt Hall, in the third-floor studio.
Instructors are Heather Roffe Wiktorski, visiting assistant professor in SUNY Potsdam’s Theatre And Dance Department, and special guest from Montreal Ariel Alvarado. You need not bring a partner with you.
They suggest you do bring smooth-soled shoes, flats for leading (preferably leather or suede soles) and followers/ladies might also want to bring high heels; those with straps and closed toes are best.
Also recommended: comfortable clothes that allow movement, and a water bottle.
Cost is $12, $5 for students with ID.
