NORWOOD -- The Norwood Village Green Concert Series will present The Taffeta Girls in Concert performing “Girl Group Music” of the 50’s and ‘60’s on Friday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. at the Norwood-Norfolk Central School Auditorium, 7852 State Highway 56.

Advance sale tickets, until Nov. 2, are $7 for adults and $5 for Pre-K-12.

Tickets can be purchased at Brick and Mortar and Northern Ice and Dance in Potsdam, Perry’s Market and Hometown Cafe in Norwood, and Main Street Market in Madrid. They also can be ordered by contacting the Norwood Village Green Concert Series at nvgcs.org or from any Taffeta Girl.

Tickets at the door will be $10 for all ages. North Country Public Radio is media sponsor.

The Taffeta Girls -- Carin Gilchrist, Laura Fitzsimons Gilbert and Meahgan Janovsky -- performed earlier this summer, but were forced to do the show at the Norwood Muncipal Building due to rain. Organizers estimate that nearly 300 people were turned away at that performance due to lack of space.

The Norwood-Norfolk Central School Auditorium has just received a new lighting and sound system, and is handicap accessible via its newly constructed front entrance.
