POTSDAM – Cinema 10 continues its fall 2010 season on Monday, Oct. 4 with a showing of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” or “Män som hatar kvinnor,” a 2009 Swedish crime thriller.
The film is based on a popular crime novel of the same name.
The story centers on a disgraced journalist, Mikael Blomkvist, sentenced to prison after losing a libel case brought against him by a powerful industrialist.
Before going to jail, Blomkvist is hired to investigate a forty-year-old unsolved murder. With the help of a troubled and tattooed young computer hacker, he must contend with danger and deception, mystery and murder.
Films are shown on Mondays at 7:15 p.m. in the Roxy Theater in Potsdam.
Tickets are $4.50 general/$35 season or $3.50 student/senior/$25 season.
