POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music will host the annual Julia Crane International Piano Competition Sept. 20 to Sept. 22.
Twelve young classical pianists will compete for more than $6,000 in prize money. In addition to the prize money, constants will earn the chance to perform in the final round with the Orchestra of Northern New York Sunday, Sept. 22 at 3:30 p.m. in Hosmer Hall.
Tickets for the final round, featuring the Orchestra of Northern New York, are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors, $10 for students and free for children. Tickets are available through the Community Performance Series Box Office, 267-2277 or www.onny.org, and can also be purchased at Northern Music & Video.
