POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's Crane School will present a free concert featuring Robert Young and the Crane Wind Ensemble Wednesday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Hosmer Hall.
The program includes "Russian Funeral" by Benjamin Britten, "Stomp Igor" by Robert Patterson, "Concerto in E-flat Major, Op. 109" by Alexander Glazunov, "Danzon No. 2" by Arturo Marquez, arranged by Nickel and "Sinfonietta" by Ingolf Dahl.
Robert Young, a visiting assistant professor of saxophone at Crane, will perform on solo saxophone in the Glazunov concerto.
