POTSDAM -- The SUNY Potsdam Department of Theatre and Dance will present the 2017 Student Choreographers Concert, titled "Spectrum," in two separate programs from Dec. 1-3.
The concert is a showcase of 19 choreographic works by student dancers, who have been creating and rehearsing their pieces throughout the fall semester.
The 19 dance works will be divided between two programs, which will all be performed in the Dance Theater, located in the SUNY Potsdam Performing Arts Center.
Program A will be presented on Friday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 2 p.m. Program B will be presented on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m.
Student choreographers presenting works include: Carlie Bonilla, Atiya Clarke, Brooklyn Collier, Krystal Dawkins, Nicole Gibson, Kendall Hanrahan, Justice Kennedy, Justine Kennedy, Caitlyn Lane, Asyha Mosely, Cortney Nelsen, Devon Newsome, Luisanna Marte Olivo, Sarah Olsen, Mikayla Pike, Eliezer Quarless, Katherine Rubenacker, Shondelle Webster and Stephon Williams.
Admission to the concert is free. To reserve a seat, free tickets are available through the Community Performance Series Box Office, located in the Performing Arts Center Lobby, by calling 315-267-2277.
Tickets will also be available at the door, beginning one hour before show time.
