POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's Department of Geology welcomes stargazers of all ages to attend free planetarium shows at the college's planetarium this semester.
Presented by Professor Emeritus Dr. Frank Revetta, all shows will be offered on Thursdays at 4 p.m.
The schedule for the Spring 2014 semester is as follows: Jan. 30: "Circumpolar Constellations", Feb. 13: "Winter Constellations", Feb. 27: "The Brightest Stars", March 13: "Spring and Summer Constellations", April 3: "Worldwide Constellations", April 17: "Constellations of the Zodiac", May 1: "How Astronomers Locate Stars.” Each planetarium show lasts about 45 minutes.
The planetarium is located in the basement of Stowell Hall. Guests of all ages are welcome to attend.
