POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam's Honors Program is offering six upcoming lectures on happiness.
All lectures will be offered on Tuesdays, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. in the Raymond Hall eighth-floor dining room, which is wheelchair-accessible.
Schedule:
Feb. 3: "On Happiness and the Theatre," presented by Kimberly Bouchard, associate professor of theatre.
Feb. 10: "On Happiness in History," presented by Sheila McIntyre, associate professor of history.
Feb. 17: "On Happiness and Spirituality," presented by Christopher Brown, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Potsdam.
Feb. 24: "On Happiness and the Scientific Method," presented by Walt Conley, professor of biology.
March 17: "On Happiness and Philosophy," presented by Galen. K. Pletcher, dean emeritus of SUNY Potsdam's School of Arts and Sciences.
March 24: "On Happiness and the Environment," presented by Heather Sullivan-Catlin, associate professor of sociology.
