POTSDAM -- The SUNY Potsdam men's hockey team hosts its third annual Military Appreciation Night during the contest Saturday, Nov. 7 with SUNY Fredonia at Maxcy Hall.
All veterans, active duty personnel, National Guard and reservists will get in for free.
The Watertown Vet Center will have a table near the rink entrance to distribute information on services provided to veterans.
“The Bears appreciate the sacrifices of the men and women of the armed services and have built a close relationship with the ROTC in recent seasons,” a press release from the college said.
The college was recently honored again by Victory Media and named a Military-Friendly School in G.I. Jobs magazine.
Fans are also encouraged to come out in force Friday night, Nov. 6 for the Buffalo State contest as the hockey team holds Spirit Night.
Fans are urged to show their creativity as the best demonstration of Potsdam Spirit will win them prizes.
First place is a $250 gift card, followed by $100 and $50 gift cards for second and third.
Both games start at 7 p.m.
